Discussing Hulu.com Potentially Charging...
Me: right. and i wouldn't mind paying a $10 subscription for hulu either, but again, they can't flip it around and be all, "well you don't have cable so that'll be $45" or whatever
Marcus: yeah, they need to charge a flat rate depending on service. do you want tv shows then it's $10 a month. do you want to the entire tv show archive and movie archive an the ability to stream current shows the day after they air then it's $20 a month or something like that
Me: yup, and that's reasonable. but i have a bad feeling they're going to try to be unreasonable. if necessary, i'll give up tv (did it once, doing it again in a different format will be fine... i'll go back to books for entertainment)
Marcus: haha! pretty soon you'll be reading by fire light too
Me: if necessary, hell yes! fight the man, i say! anyway, with solar technology improving, i can beat 'em all. of course, unless they blacken the sky ala matrix, but then we're all just fucked
Marcus: haha. i'll join your cause if they blacken the sky
